A Projection of Memory

2017 - 18

A Projection of Memory is a piece of choreographic research exploring time, memory, habit and intuition. It is both a solo, duet, trio and a group piece danced by a single performer. It has been performed in studio and theatre settings, as well as adapted into a durational installation work.

‘Projection is optical, but telling is haptic – whether by hand or by eye. It is feeling-full.’ (Ingold, 2013:121)

What if…

My present is also my past and my future.

What if…

My present was my past and will be my future.

What if…

My present will be my past and was my future.

What if…

My whole body in this moment

can remember

has remembered

will remember?
